Abstract: This essay examines Amazon’s environmental footprint across packaging, logistics, and data centers, highlighting how its expansion exacerbates climate injustice. While Amazon’s growth provides consumer benefits in the Global North, it externalizes costs to vulnerable communities in the Global South. Plastic waste, carbon emissions, and data center energy use reveal a structural imbalance in global climate inequality. Addressing these asymmetries is crucial for advancing climate justice and corporate accountability.

Abstract: Mara folk narratives preserve not only stories of supernatural encounters but also myths that frame the people’s understanding of the cosmos, humanity’s origins, and cultural identity. This article examines the cosmological dimension of Mara oral tradition, focusing on creation myths, flood myths, and afterlife beliefs. Through narratives such as the orphan Thluapa, the origin of Pala Lake, and stories of journeys to the otherworld, the article shows how Mara myths are both explanatory and identity-forming. They provide memory, meaning, and moral direction for a community once defined by animist beliefs and oral storytelling.

Abstract: Social media influences college students' academic pursuits, social environments and emotional well-being. While social media platforms facilitate networking with peers and professors, provide access to research articles and serve as an information source, they also present challenges. This study investigated social media's impact on academic performance of Government Champhai college students in Mizoram, India. A descriptive survey approach was used across academic disciplines including Science, Humanities, Commerce, and Computer Science. A simple random sampling technique was used to select 123 participants (61 males and 62 females), and the data were analysed using descriptive statistics, Mann-Whitney U test, and Kruskal-Wallis H test.
