Abstract: The incidence of triple-negative breast cancer (TNBC) is approximately 10-15% of all breast cancer cases around the world. It is important to search for novel therapeutic agents against TNBC since this form of cancer is a leading cause of death in women worldwide. Various genetic mutations in TNBC patients have been identified. EZH2 is an oncoprotein involved in breast, prostate, colon, and other cancers. In silico drug design and bioinformatics studies.....

Abstract: Objectives: To determine the frequency of different ENT diseases presenting at outpatient department and to educate people about different ENT diseases, their early treatment and prevention.
Methodology: An observational cross-sectional study was done in Prithvichandra hospital, Nawalparasi between from May 2024 to September 2024. A non-probability convenient sampling technique was used to collect data from 250 participants from patients presenting at OPD. Data about patient particulars and different diseases was collected through a well-structured questionnaire. Data was secured and confidentiality was maintained. Data was analyzed using SPSS 21........

Abstract: The advantage of peritoneal dialysis (PD) is its continuous nature of fluid and solute removal, with continuous sodium removal causing reduced thirst and fluid intake, thus helping with balancing fluid status 1. The steady nature of this process likely preserves residual renal functions, which in turn has a bearing on mortality2. Although PD is known to work in anuric patients, it comes at a cost of larger dose (increased volumes, no dry time), which in turn exposes the peritoneal membrane to glucose related degradation, ultimately hastening its inability to sustain PD over prolonged periods and besides exposing it to the risk of encapsulating peritoneal fibrosis. This led to the.......

Abstract: This case report presents a 25-year-old immunocompetent patient with progressive dysphagia, ultimately diagnosed with mediastinal tuberculous lymphadenitis. Despite normal physical and laboratory findings, gastroscopy revealed multiple esophageal lesions, and imaging studies, including a thoracic CT scan and endoscopic ultrasound (EUS), identified two masses causing esophageal compression. Histopathological analysis and GeneXpert testing confirmed Mycobacterium tuberculosis infection.
This case underscores the importance of considering tuberculosis in the differential diagnosis of esophageal lesions, especially in endemic regions, and highlights the role of advanced imaging and biopsy in accurate diagnosis and timely treatment........

Abstract: Background: To quantify the linear measurements of displacements occurring in mandibular teeth during enmasse distalization at various heights of buccal shelf screws and retraction hooks.
Materials and Methods. A finite element method was used for modeling mandibular teeth. The brackets, buccal tubes, retraction hooks and buccal shelf screws were designed by using 3D experience. In the mandibular model, buccal shelf screws were positioned at heights of 3 mm, 5 mm, and 8 mm below the cemento-enamel junction, and the retraction hooks at heights of.......

Abstract: Congenital hypothyroidism (CH) is one of the major health problems and the main preventable cause of mental retardation in children. The incidence of congenital hypothyroidism varies across geographic areas and ethnicity. The exact incidence of congenital hypothyroidism in India is unknown. The incidence of CH has shown a wide variation across different states in India. A study done in Hyderabad showed an incidence of 1 in 1700 births.1 Studies by Desai et al based on a neonatal screening program in Mumbai places the incidence at 1: 2500 –1: 2800.8 Other studies done in Kerala and Kolkata and have shown a higher incidence of 1:500 to 1:600.20 CH if diagnosed promptly and.......
