Abstract: This study aimed to conduct a bibliometric analysis of international scientific production on water and water security over the past five years (2019–2024). The adopted methodology was exploratory and descriptive in nature, based on the bibliometric analysis of data extracted from the Scopus database. The search included the terms “Water,” “Water Security,” and “Water Resources,” initially resulting in 1,133 documents. After applying filters by subject areas, language, type of publication, and open access status, 410 articles were selected for analysis.
