Abstract: Myocardial Infarction in patient with non-obstructive coronary artery disease (MINOCA) is evident in up to 5-15% of all acute myocardial infarctions (AMI) and disproportionately affects young female. MINOCA Patients has worst prognosis than patients without cardiovascular diseases. A minority of patients with AMI are found to have MINOCA. Some physicians fail to realize that the absence of obstructive coronary artery disease does not exclude the AMI possibility. MINOCA has a number of heterogenous causes, including coronary disruption, coronary vasospasm, coronary embolism, spontaneous coronary artery dissection (SCAD) and coronary microvascular disfunction (CMD) and non- ischemic mechanism (Takotsubo cardiomyopathy, myocarditis and non-ischemic....

Abstract: Hemisection is a conservative treatment modality aimed at preserving a compromised multirooted tooth by removing the diseased root while maintaining the healthy portion of the tooth. This case report describes the successful management of a grossly decayed mandibular first permanent molar in a 13-year-old patient using hemisection combined with fibre post rehabilitation and prosthetic restoration. A 13-year-old patient reported to the Department of Preventive and Pediatric Dentistry, Jaipur Dental College with a chief complaint of decayed teeth in the lower...

Abstract: Background: To compare the effectiveness of traditional hand files and two rotary file systems in terms of obturation quality and instrumentation time during root canal treatment of deciduous molars. Materials and Methods: A sample of 30 primary molars with irreversible pulpitis were taken per group between the age group of 4-8 years. The groups were divided as- Group I(n=30) treated using the Kedo-S File system, Group II(n=30)-treated using Neoendo Pedoflex File system, Group III(n=30)-treated using manual stainless steel K-file(Mani). The...

Abstract: Résumé : Le lupus érythémateux systémique (LES) est une maladie auto-immune systémique à expression clinique polymorphe. Les manifestations pleuropulmonaires sont fréquentes au cours de son évolution, mais leur caractère inaugural reste rare et constitue un défi diagnostique, notamment face aux étiologies infectieuses. Nous rapportons...

Abstract: Background: Filling station workers are occupationally exposed to petroleum products that contain volatile hydrocarbons notably benzene, toluene, ethylbenzene and xylene (BTEX). The liver is the principal organ for biotransformation of these compounds and is therefore a key target for chemical injury. This study assessed liver function in male filling station workers in Dhaka city. Methods: This cross-sectional research took place at Dhaka Medical College in 2022 involving 80 males aged 20–55 years, comprising 40 filling station employees with at least 2 years of exposure and 40 controls matched for age and BMI. Workers were categorized based on the length of exposure (2–<5, 5–10, and >10 years). Liver function indicators (ALT, AST, ALP, total bilirubin, and total protein) were assessed...
