Abstract: Background: Impacted teeth are teeth that remain embedded in the alveolar bone and fail to erupt into the oral cavity due to obstruction by bone, soft tissue, or lack of eruptive path. Maxillary canines are among the most commonly impacted teeth after third molars and play an important role in facial aesthetics, arch stability, and functional occlusion. Surgical exposure combined with orthodontic traction is considered an effective treatment modality for......

Abstract: Objectives: Precise fabrication of complete dentures is essential to ensure optimal function, aesthetics, phonetics, and comfort for edentulous patients. Microstomia poses significant challenges for prosthodontic rehabilitation, particularly in completely edentulous patients, as restricted mouth opening complicates impression making, jaw relations, and prosthesis insertion. This case series describes two clinical scenarios of edentulous older adults with microstomia managed using modified impression techniques and sectional prostheses where indicated. The report emphasises the importance......

Abstract: Paroxysmal supraventricular tachycardia (PSVT) is an uncommon but potentially life-threatening arrhythmia in children. In pediatric patients with underlying bronchial asthma, tachycardia is often presumed to be physiologic or secondary to hypoxia or beta-agonist therapy. Early recognition and prompt management are crucial to prevent hemodynamic compromise.

Abstract: Background: Spinal anaesthesia is the preferred technique for elective lower segment cesarean section (LSCS) due to rapid onset, dense neural blockade, and maternal safety. Bupivacaine 0.5% heavy is commonly used, but ropivacaine 0.75%, a newer amide local anaesthetic, offers benefits like less cardiotoxicity and faster recovery. Buprenorphine, a partial μ-opioid agonist, is used as an intrathecal adjuvant for its prolonged analgesic effect without significant motor blockade or respiratory depression.....
