Abstract: Despite the increased prevalence of Dementia in India, the awareness of the disease among the Indian population is scarce. This problem could lead to misrepresentation and disregard of the symptoms, delayed diagnosis, limit the choices to provide care for the person diagnosed and be an additional stress factor for both the caregiver and person living with dementia.
