Abstract: The present study aimed to examine loneliness and marital satisfaction among married couples. Loneliness refers to a subjective feeling of emotional and social isolation, while marital satisfaction reflects the degree of happiness and fulfilment experienced within a marital relationship. A total sample of 80 married individuals was selected for the study, comprising 40 males and 40 females. Loneliness was measured using the Loneliness Scale developed by Praveen Kumar Jha, and marital satisfaction was assessed using the Marital Adjustment Scale developed by B. Hsan & K. C. Bhagat.
