ABSTRACT: Superheated steam drying technology is a material drying technology with high energy utilization, low environmental pollution, good material treatment effect and high safety with the development of science and technology in recent years. The development of computer digital simulation technology has simplified the testing process in the development of industrial equipment and new technologies. In this paper, the influence of the distribution state of the drying medium in different drying chamber structures on the change rate of the temperature in the drying chamber is compared by using the fluent fluid simulation software, which provides some theoretical basis for the development of superheated steam drying technology.

ABSTRACT: A survey was conducted d uring 2022 23 to study the socio economic character i stics of hybrid cotton seed production in kalyana karnataka. F or the study, multistage sampling procedure as we ll as snow ball technique was adopted for selection of major district and sample farmers of 6 0. The average age of famers involved in hybrid cotton seed production was 43.01 years. T he hcsg had completed primary or high school education (53.30%), followed by college or above (30.00 %) education . The majority of farmers i.e. e., 58.30 per cent were us ed to live in nuclear family and rest 41.60 per cent farmers used to live in joint family.....

ABSTRACT: This study was conducted to determine the haematological and serum biochemical parameters of weaned rabbits fed diets with graded levels of sundried cassava peels as replacement for maize. A total of twenty male cross breed (Chincjilla x New Zealand) weaned rabbits were randomly assigned to five treatment groups in a completely randomized design. Each group was replicated four times with one rabbit per replicate. The animals were kext in individual cages. Five experimental diets were formulated such that T1, T2, T3, T4 and T5 contain 0.0%, 12.5%, 25.0%,.....

ABSTRACT: Background: Opportunistic pathogens have become elevating relevant as the causative agents of clinical illness in horses. Generally, Klebsiella spp. are gram-negative bacteria that are considered serious public health problems causing urinary tract infections, bloodstream infections, pneumonia infections, and soft tissue infections. This study was performed to evaluate the existence of Klebsiella pneumoniae (K. pneumoniae) in diseased horses suffered from respiratory symptoms as well as determining their virulence and resistance against various antimicrobials.....

ABSTRACT: Background: Tuber and fruit peels might be used as alternative and sole feeds for rabbits, but, published nutrient values for these fruit and tuber peels as reported in literature vary widely. Hence, the nutrient content in crop peels fed to rabbits in Port Harcourt, Nigeria were evaluated to know if fed sole to rabbit, they might meet the nutrient requirements of the rabbits. Materials and Methods: The peels were collected from 25 rabbit farmers, coded as YPP, PLP and SPP, for yam, plantain.....

ABSTRACT: Background: The nutritive quality of meat from quails fed diets supplemented with waterleaf meal was assessed in this study.
Materials and Methods: Ninety unsexed Japanese quails aged 21 days were shared into three groups of 30 birds each. The groups were split into three replicates of 10 birds each. The waterleaf was harvested at 28 dap and mixed with commercial broiler chicken finisher diets to form dietary groups W0 or control (100% concentrate + 0% waterleaf), W20 (80% concentrate + 20% water leaf) and W40 (60% concentrate + 40% waterleaf). The three groups of quails were randomly allotted to the dietary groups using the Completely Randomized Design for the 21-day study. On the last day of the experiment, three quails per treatment were slaughtered and breast muscle meat used.....

ABSTRACT: This study aimed to assess the efficacy of resporan a product produced by rivansh animal nutrition pvt ltd. In protecting the respiratory system of broiler chickens challenged with respiratory distress. Resporan is essential oil containing product which contains essential oil such as eucalyptus & menthol etc. One hundred and five one-day-old chicks were randomly allocated into three groups: group a (. ), group b (treated with resporan and mycoplasma gallisepticum challenged), and group c (control group not challenged with mycoplasma gallisepticum and not treated with resporan). At one week of age, birds in groups a and b were intra-tracheally challenged with mycoplasma gallisepticum strain......

ABSTRACT: The evaluation of Bio efficacy of chromatic, pheromone and composite insect attractants is conducted in Kenyan agroclimatic zone. The methyl eugenol pheromone trap, yellow sticky trap and aTTraps (sticky glue, methyl eugenol and yellow colored aerosol composite) are comparatively studied for their insect attractant ability in watermelon crop under identical conditions. We have observed that the pheromone trap captured total 15 insects, sticky trap attracted 23 and aTTraps trapped 103 insects after 15 days on installation. It is also observed that aTTraps demonstrates......
