Abstract: This study presents a comprehensive multivariate geospatial heat map analysis of India's Peninsular and Extra Peninsular hot springs, focusing on geothermal geochemistry. Heat maps serve as an effective tool for visualizing complex numerical data, allowing for the identification of patterns, trends, and anomalies in geothermal variables across diverse geotectonic settings. The research utilizes a dataset comprising 182 observations and 11 variables, including geographic coordinates and various geochemical parameters. By employing Excel's heat.......

Abstract: Vertical electrical resistivity survey was carried out at Agbura in Bayelsa State to investigate the groundwater potential of the area. ABEM Terrameter SAS-1000 was used, employing Schlumberger Electrode Configuration. Maximum half-current electrode spread AB/2 of 1 m to 133 m was used while the potential electrodes separation MN/2 was maintained between 0.25 m to 5.00 m. The VES curve was quantitatively interpreted by computer iteration techniques using IP2Win computer software. The result of the interpreted geo-electric survey delineated a cross-section of six geo-electric units before the seventh infinite layer goes to infinity hence its geo-electric parameters are considered artefacts.......

Abstract: Thirty-four sediment samples were gathered from El-Hamrawein Harbour area. The investigating area sediments are composed of 84.86% sand fraction. The gravel fraction ranged from 0.00 to 46.54% and averaged 6.71%. Mud fraction varied from 0.00 to 32.39% and averaged 8.44%. The majority of samples were gathered from deep depths of the area contain a significant amount of mud fraction. This is a result of landfilling and dredging in the harbour area, additional to phosphate ore shipment activities. The carbonate content ranged.......

Abstract: This study is on the assessment of clinical outcomes following ankle arthrodesis among patients who had posttraumatic osteoarthritis of the ankle and infected open primary ankle injury at specialized hospitals in Kaduna, Kaduna State, Nigeria, with the aim of determining the mechanism of injury, mode of treatment and treatment outcome. A retrospective study research design was employed for all the patients to collect data from the two specialized hospital records. The data were analyzed using Pearson and chi-square test tool. The results revealed that Motor vehicular crashes (MVCs) are the leading mechanism of injury, accounting for 66.7.......

Abstract: Geotechnical investigation of sub-soil for disaster risk reduction and its use as support for foundation of civil infrastructures and gas processing plant to prevent building collapse at Ovade-Ogharefe was carried out to determine the safe bearing capacity of the soil materials and to recommend suitable foundation design options. Twelve soil samples were collected from 6 boring locations using the Shell-and-Auger Percussion Rig to depth of 20m where undisturbed and disturbed samples were taken at regular intervals of 1.50m. Two soil zones of Brownish Lateritic Clayey-Sand and Grayish well-graded Sands and Gravels were identified. Results of the Atterberg limit of clay samples.......
