Abstract: The current controlled release technology made possible to release drugs at a constant release rate for longer periods of time ranging from days to years. Objective: The objective of the present work was to develop bilayer floating tablets of metoclopramide hydrochloride. Methods: Metoclopramide Hydrochloride bilayer floating tablets were prepared by direct compression method. The tablet contains two layers one is floating layer and other is sustain release layer in which drug is incorporated.
