Abstract: Despite various reforms aimed at strengthening HMIS, healthcare providers' knowledge and skills continue to impede its effectiveness in public health facilities in Kakamega County, Kenya. This study examined the relationship between healthcare providers' knowledge and skills. A correlational research design was employed, targeting 1,050 healthcare workers across 15 Level IV health facilities in Kakamega County. A sample of 281 participants was selected using cluster, stratified, and simple random sampling techniques, comprising 15 Medical Superintendents.....
