Title | : | ENSURING SUSTAINABILITY THROUGH CORPORATE SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY |
Country | : | India |
Authors | : | Ms.Shweta Ghag || Ms,Reema Dsouza || Ms.Chitra Mhatre |
Abstract: Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) is gaining increasing importance day after day. More and more organizations are showing their commitments towards CSR either for enhancing their corporate image or to stay ahead in the competition. Moreover, the emergence of different marketing innovations demands direct linkage of Corporate Social Responsibility practices with corporate business strategies. The neo-liberal development model essentially refers to liberalisation, privatisation and globalisation of the earth's resources, for greater benefit of the people. The emergence of big corporate houses and their ambition for the optimisation of individual profits has not only divided the world between the rich and poor, but has also led to an imbalance between development and environmental sustainability.
Recent studies and surveys have shown that the earth is gradually becoming a dangerous place to live, due to unsustainable human induced activities. Given that, the governments of many countries have stood up firmly, to ensure that the ongoing developmental practices remain in optimal harmony with environmental sustainability as well as human security. Hence, it can be argued that environmental and social security are not only the responsibility of the government, but demand effective participation from the corporate and business world.
The paper is an attempt to highlight the importance and benefits of Corporate Social Responsibility, as a tool to ensure greater participation of business entrepreneurs towards protecting the natural eco-system and enhancing the quality of life, while undertaking a developmental activity, rather than being a merely token engagement that it often currently is. The study will also elucidate the theoretical and practical contribution of CSR towards achieving the goal of sustainable development in India. And while CSR has taken on many forms in the Indian business world, this paper is looking at ones that can be easily replicated at both the business and individual level for sustainable development.

Abstract: This research Paper Explore the Missing Links or Edges between the triangle, i.e. Management Institute, Student and Industry. Corporate are expecting that management post graduate students to be equipped with set of managerial skills, innovativeness, Proper Mind set and result oriented vision. But now days many Management Institute are unable to meet these corporate expectations. Corporate world is changing rapidly, so that most of the Management Institutes are unable to cater the requirement of the Industry and unable to match the pace with changes. This leads to a significant Gap between class room teaching and on field learning. Student are seeking admission in the institute with excellent track record of placement, hence the day they enter campus, their focus is more on getting high-salary jobs than on improving their capabilities. Title | : | From Representational to Comprehensive: Workplace Diversity Redefined |
Country | : | India |
Authors | : | Minouti Naik |
Abstract: In today‟s day and age, globalisation and the advancement in technology have transformed the world into, what the late media and communication theorist Marshall McLuhan calls, a "global village‟. Globalisation has facilitated free movement of people across continents and has enabled them to travel to and settle in countries of their choice. Whether on a short term or a long term basis, we have been witnessing a large number of Indians becoming a part of the global workforce and studies say that in the years to come this number is estimated to rise.

Title | : | EFFECTIVE USE OF KNOWLEDGE MANAGEMENT |
Country | : | India |
Authors | : | Bhagyashri Lakudkar || Mugdha Patil |
Abstract: Knowledge and Knowledge Management plays a pivotal role at all levels of hierarchy in an organisation to help it grow and develop. Various efforts have been made towards the achievement of KM, in terms of technology, use of IT, Data support systems or HRIS. But these channels provide more of information, as compared to knowledge. Knowledge is a much more organised data and proves to be more convenient and reliable, when it needs to be applied. It is obtained from intellectual resources in the organisation. Knowledge Management is all about the process of capturing, developing and efficiently using the knowledge available. It has to be channelised in a proper direction, to gain maximum benefit and satisfaction. Therefore, information storing, retrieval and sharing have become convenient. Knowledge Management is an activity practised by enterprises all over the world.

Title | : | TO ANALYZE THE NEW TRENDS IN RURAL MARKETING WITH SPECIAL REFERENCE TO PHARMACEUTICAL COMPANIES |
Country | : | India |
Authors | : | Dr. Nilesh R. Berad || Prof. Nilesh Chhallare |
Abstract: In last few years, rural markets have acquired significant importance in India, as the overall growth of the economy has resulted into sizeable increase in the purchasing power of the rural population. On account of the green revolution in India, the rural areas are consuming a large quantity of industrial and urban manufactured products. On the backdrop of this, a special marketing approach, namely, rural marketing has taken shape. One of such industry, which is facing a transitional phase, is Pharmaceutical industry. Pharmaceutical companies are operating through Indirect Marketing method therefore it is important to analyze the new trends in rural marketing with special reference to Pharma companies.
This research paper analyzes the current marketing practices and outlines in detail future developments that will increase the return on investment (ROI) within sales, marketing and customer fulfillment activities. Indian Pharmaceutical companies started investing in technologies, R & D and yet often achieve poor ROI through poor assessment of user needs and customer requirements. This limit the scope of rural marketing activity and assimilation within the company and fail to recognize that rural marketing is as much about changing employee skills and business processes as it is about technology. By investing intelligently in rural marketing, companies can bring genuine improvement across business functions and reap the rewards of higher ROI. This research paper looks at the different resent trends used in rural marketing within pharmaceutical companies & determines established best practice and provides detailed analysis on key activities, which allow pharmaceutical companies to manage their business more effectively.

Abstract: Despite the fact that India‟s growth story is a well scripted one, with as many ardent followers as those in doubt, there is no denying that the growth is lopsided, in more ways than one; and, as common sense shows, anything that lacks balance is bound to topple over, in the long run.

Title | : | Role of Financial Inclusion for Inclusive Growth in India & their Issues & Challenges |
Country | : | India |
Authors | : | Prof. Sonali R. Limaye |
Abstract: Financial Inclusion is the availability of banking services at an affordable cost to disadvantaged & low income group. In India the basic concept of financial inclusion is having a saving or current with any bank. In reality it includes loans, insurance services & much more. Today the term "bottom of the pyramid" refers to the global poors most of whom live in the developing countries. These largest numbers of poor are required to be provided with much needed financial assistance in order to sail them out of their conditions of poverty. Financial inclusion is intended to connect people with banks with consequential benefits. Ensuring that financial system plays its due role in promoting inclusive growth is one of the biggest challenges for economies. The promotion of an inclusive financial system is a policy priority of many countries. While the importance of financial inclusion is widely recognized, the literature lacks the comprehensive measures that can be used to measure the extent of financial inclusion. This paper attempts to fill the gap by proposing a multidimensional index of financial inclusion. Also, it gives the information about, the role of banking system for financial inclusion, importance & benefits of financial inclusion & conducted the financial inclusion programme with the help of Business Correspondents (BCs)/ Business Facilitator (BFs).

Title | : | Google Apps: An Alternative to Learning Management System |
Country | : | India |
Authors | : | Vaishali H Pardeshi || Dr. Satish Alliwadi |
Abstract: Technology is used in education for increasing the effectiveness of teaching and learning. It helps in sharing, collaborating, communicating and creating a cohesive learning environment. One of the technological initiatives was the introduction of Learning Management system (LMS), which is considered to be revolutionary aid for teaching and learning process. However, everyone could not use them because they were expensive and were not able to meet every learners and teachers requirements. There were even criticisms on its efficiency and effectiveness. Development of Cloud based services and other tools have created alternatives, which can be seen as alternatives to LMS. The most popular is the cloud based Google Apps. These google apps can be creatively used to function like LMS. In this paper, I have explained how to use Google Drive and Google Sites as LMS. These apps were used by me for delivering and managing the course content, communicating, collaborating, just like it is done in LMS. The implementation methodology of Google Drive and Google Site for effective teaching-learning is elucidated. The comparison of Google Drive and Google Site over the LMS, along with its benefits are also explained.

Title | : | The complementary role played by Management and labour in Industrial Harmony |
Country | : | India |
Authors | : | V Murali Manohar |
Abstract: Industry is compared to a flower,which must be handled carefully and delicately.The industry must be enabled to blossom fully without any hindrance.We cannot get the best out of the industry by squeezing or crushing it, as a flower gives honey just as the industry yields profits(G.Ramanujam, 1983).In this paper, there is a theoretical framework of the role played by both the workers who are well supported by trade Unions and Management for the smooth running of the organisation, thus providing Industrial harmony.
