Direct equity investing is considered more dynamic by the investor community and thus, those who can ready to face risk and keep a continuous tab on the equity markets prefer the direct equity route as it gives them much needed zing and excitement. Title | : | Impact of Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) on The Growth of The Indian Economy |
Country | : | India |
Authors | : | Dr.Jonardankoner || Dr.Dipayan Roy || Prof.Avinashpurandare |
Abstract: Foreign direct investment (FDI) is usually rather unanimously treated as important factor of economic growth. There is a lot of scientific literature elaborating various facets of relationship between FDI and economic growth, especially in transition countries. FDI flows into India have grown rapidly since the liberalisation of the policy regimein the early nineties. Nevertheless they remain small when measured as a proportion of GDPor total investment. In other words they play a very small role in the development of oureconomy. This contrasts with the very important role that FDI has played in the economicdevelopment of other fast growing Asian economies such as ASEAN and China. What onemay call the "FDI-Export" model has powered the high growth rates of Singapore..............

Globalization of businesses, infrastructural limitations, increasing uncertainty of supply chain networks, has forced Indian enterprises to look beyond their four walls. The study used domestic debt, external debt and educational expenditure as explanatory variables to determine their effect on GDP in the long run. Long run is estimated by employingAuto Regressive Distributed Lag (ARDL. The coefficient of Error Correction Term (ECT suggests disequilibrium that is corrected at the speed of 52.8 percent over each year. Significant ECT is a proof of the existence of long run relationship............

Country | : | India |
Authors | : | Javeed Kalangade || Sandeep Zutshi || Dr. Smita Shukla |
Abstract: Significant competition and loss of sales of established brands and product lines may stimulate new product development for segments that have not been tapped yet. It is a risky initiative as it may dilute or cannibalize the existing product lines and give very little benefit to the organization. Many in the field of product development have seen companies spend a lot on new product failures, and a few have created new products that owe their current fortunes to their new products developed This research paper is trying to capture the incent sticks market and understand its usage patterns from a certain community and find out possible new segments which can be tapped by organizations.
