Title | : | Derivative Strategies for Market Randomness |
Country | : | India |
Authors | : | Chirag Babulal Shah |
Abstract: The returns of the stock market are very important to the theories of Asset pricing, allocation and risk management of investments. However, we assume that positive index returns means positive trade returns. One very important point missed out by retail investors is that the stock market can be traded with a variety of views. Option strategies allow a trader to take multiple views on the market, and hence many ways to make profits. One of the biggest advantages of options is the ability to create a direction neutral strategy. Strategies like Straddle,Strangle, Butterfly, Iron Condor, etc. are considered Direction neutral strategies. Out of these, the Reverse Iron Condor has proven to be the best strategy for a long term investor...............

Abstract: VUCA, an acronym for Volatility, Uncertainty, Complexity and Ambiguity is fast becoming a catchphrase in the corporate arena and an often-discussed topic for today's adaptive leaders during annual strategy meets. Economic turbulence and the rapid rate of change in our business environment are throwing many organizations and their leaders pretty much off-balance as they are unable to keep pace with the vagaries of a VUCA world. In a 'VUCA world,' both pundits and executives have said, core activities essential to driving organizational performance--like strategic planning--are viewed as mere exercises in futility............

Title | : | "Foreign Investments and Indian Stock Market- Cause and Effect |
Country | : | India |
Authors | : | Dr. Mahammadrafique Usmangani Meman |
Abstract: This research paper studied the impact of foreign investments on Indian stock market. For achieving such objective, the monthly data have been collected for BSE Sensex and Foreign Equity Investments during year 2011 to 2016. For data analysis and interpretation, various statistical tools have been used such as Phillips-Perron (PP) Test, Granger Causality Test, Johansen Co-integration Test and Vector Error Correction Model. To conclude, foreign investments do not cause the movement of Indian stock market but the Indian stock market causes foreign investments. Further, there is no long run causality from Indian stock market to foreign investments.
