Abstract: The purpose of the study was to establish the effect of value innovation strategy on performance of selected insurance firms in Kenya. The objectives of the study were: to investigate the effect of industry efficiency logic, knowledge intensive logic and network logic on performance of insurance firms in Kenya. The study was anchored on value innovation framework. The target population for the study was all the 53 insurance firms licenced by the insurance regulatory authority. Proportionate stratified random sampling technique was used to select a sample of 208 from a total population of 453 managers. The research findings established that value innovation strategies had a significant and positive effect on performance of insurance companies in Kenya.....

Abstract: Background: Cotton cultivation in India often fluctuates from season to season owing to unfavorable weather conditions, drought and/or flood like conditions, inadequate irrigation facilities, illiteracy in farming community, soil erosion, improper manuring and low application of fertilizers, non-mechanized and outdated farm implements, lack of capital and insufficient credit facilities, lack of proper marketing system. Therefore, the productivity in Indian agriculture is moving on a slow path of development as compared to China.
