ABSTRACT: The global shift toward renewable energy is a critical step in addressing climate change and achieving sustainable development. Among various renewable energy sources, solar energy has emerged as a leading solution due to its environmental benefits, scalability, and potential for widespread adoption. India, with its vast solar potential of approximately 5,000 trillion kWh annually, has embraced solar power as a cornerstone of its energy transition. Initiatives such as the National Solar Mission (NSM) aim to position the country as a global leader in solar energy, contributing to both energy security and climate mitigation goals.
