Abstract: Superalloy Inconel 625 is widely used in the oil and gas industry as an internal coating for pipes and valves due to its resistance to corrosion. The objective of this work was to investigate the behavior of the Inconel 625 coating, deposited by TIG welding on AISI 4130 steel, in NACE TM0177 solution.
