Abstract:This project develops a rocket nozzle. The nozzle is designed in such a way that the divergent portion of the nozzle geometry must pass through a clover that is placed on the perimeter, thus creating a space for air intake into the centre of an annular rocket exhaust stream. The main objective of this project is to determine the best one from (3clover, 4clover and 5 clovers) and comparison of numerical simulation to a predefined Mach number distribution of in viscid solution and viscous simulation using the k-model will be attempted.

Abstract: The engineering design of industrial chimneys requires predicting the temperature decay of exhaust gases along the walls of chimney. This paper investigates the practical calculation of the thermal performance of industrial chimneys which leads to estimating the static draft and the bulk temperature of combustion gases at the chimney's exit for determining the air pollution levels in the vicinity of the stack. A modified analytical model is used to obtain accurate heat transfer results. Heat transfer processes involving the internal convection heat transfer, external heat transfer to the surrounding and conduction heat transfer, which takes into account fouling resistance are considered.

Abstract: Nowadays people concentrate more and more on the comfort and operability of automobiles. Four wheel-drives in cars have become popular and are in demand in the automotive sector. But the advancement in two wheelers was limited. The concept of two wheel drive motorcycles was not successfully and economically implemented. Two wheel drive motorcycle is desirable in situations where there is rough terrain and high inclination roads which are tiresome and difficult to drive with the conventional rear wheel driven motorcycles. The two wheel drive bikes are apt for farmers, military applications, desert drive etc. The proposed design provide economical and user friendly two wheel drive. The use of chain drive and sprockets help in reduction of power loss during transmission of power from the engine to front and rear wheels. The lightweight 'all-mechanical system' is used to obtain two wheel-drive.

Abstract: The matrix is the monolithic material into which the reinforcement is embedded, and is completely continuous. Metal Matrix Composites (MMCs) possess significantly improved properties. Among the MMC's aluminium composites are predominant in use due to their low weight and high strength. In this project the Tensile test, compression and Hardness test results of Aluminium 6061 Reinforced with E- Glass Fibre and Fly ash composite is studied. Also microstructure of the specimen is analysed. The reinforced composites were manufactured by Stir Casting process.
