Abstract: The discharge of pharmaceutical wastewater containing active pharmaceutical ingredients (APIs) and other emerging contaminants poses significant environmental challenges due to their persistence, bioactivity, and resistance to conventional treatment technologies. This study investigated the adsorptive treatment removal of emerging contaminants in pharmaceutical wastewater using synthesized composite copper–iron (Cu–Fe) nanoparticles from mine tailings as a sustainable approach to wastewater remediation and mining waste valorization.....
