Abstract: Aim: India leads the world today with largest number of diabetic patients in any given country. One forth of total diabetic population of world is in India, majority of them are of type-2 diabetics. Our aim of present study was that after control over periodontal infection by conventional non-surgical periodontal treatment, to evaluate metabolic control of type-2 diabetes by means of improvement in blood HbA1c level after 3 & 6 months.................

| Title | : | An Interventional Study to See the Effect of Acute Intake of Caffeine on Reaction Time in Young Healthy Adults Consuming Moderate Amount of Caffeine for Six Months |
| Country | : | India |
| Authors | : | Dr. Pagar A. B. || Dr. Raut S. E. |
Abstract: Context: Caffeine produces positive effects on mood and performance. However, tolerance may develop following habitual use. Simple reaction time is an important parameter to judge the alertness and visual motor performance as it represents the integrity of sensory, motor and coordination system of the body. So, present study is carried out to see the effect of caffeine on alertness & performance in non-caffeinated state & after regular long term moderate caffeine consumption in young healthy adults...........

| Country | : | India |
| Authors | : | Yashpal Singh,YS || Monika Saini,MS || Suraj Suvarna,SS |
Abstract: Aim: To evaluate the effect of 0.2% Cetrimide on antibacterial activity on Resin cement. Methods: A total of 100 patients of 29-56 years of age who required Fixed dental Prosthesis were selected for the study. 2 posterior teeth were prepared in each patient for All Ceramic crowns. In every patient, the 2 teeth prepared were divided in to 2 groups: Control(no antimicrobial agent applied after etching of tooth) , Test (0.2% Cetrimide applied after etching of the tooth).Bacteriologic samples were collected at 5 different sample.........

Abstract: Surgery is done through thoracotomy and mini-sternotomy instead of conventional sternotomy Ain of our study was to determine efficacy of MICS and post-operative outcome associated with MICS. 30 cases were operated after thorough pre-operative evaluation, investigations and anaesthesia fitness. They were operated either through mini-sternotomy, anterior thoracotomy or antero-lateral thoracotomy...........
