Abstract: Medical and product development greatly rely on the cornerstone of clinical trials. The outdated models, however, suffer from low patient reach, poor operating efficiency, and inadequate data quality. Efficiency and patient centrism are solutions to these barriers. In essence, the stop experience from 2023 should guide us towards more innovative thinking when it comes to trial design. In this article, I will concisely lay out some of the paradigm's established clinical trials' difficulty under the structure by discussing recruitment, data fragmentation, and retention rate issues......

Abstract: This study investigates the physicochemical parameters influencing the ecological health of Nundkol Lake, located in the Kashmir region, with a focus on identifying contamination sources, particularly during high-activity seasons. Water samples were collected from surface and groundwater sources across different seasons to capture seasonal variations in water quality. The physicochemical parameters analyzed included temperature, pH, dissolved oxygen, and water transparency, which were measured to assess the quality of the water. Statistical analysis, specifically....

Abstract: Parkinson’s disease (PD) is a progressive neurodegenerative disorder characterised by the degeneration of dopaminergic neurons and the abnormal aggregation of α-synuclein protein within neuronal cells. The misfolding of α-synuclein leads to the formation of amyloid fibrils and Lewy bodies, which are considered major pathological hallmarks of the disease. Structural polymorphs of α-synuclein fibrils have been identified, among which the cryo-EM resolved polymorph...

Abstract: Fetal bovine serum, or FBS, is known for its rich composition of various factors, including growth factors, proteins, and essential nutrients. It is a supplement used in cell culture and universally applied in biomedical research, biopharmaceuticals and cultured meat production, etc. However, FBS is also intertwined with consequential concerns related to ethics, animal suffering, lack of openness in sourcing and batch-to-batch variability. These..

Abstract: Sambhar Lake, located near Jaipur in Rajasthan, is India’s largest inland saline wetland and supports significant biodiversity as well as salt production activities. However, escalating anthropogenic pressures have resulted in extensive ecological degradation. This study presents an integrated assessment of microbiological and chemical contamination in Sambhar Lake to evaluate toxicity risks to birds, aquatic life, and humans. Seasonal water samples were collected from four representative sites and analyzed for physico-chemical parameters, heavy metals, and microbial indicators following standard protocols......

Abstract: Mutations in Epidermal Growth Factor Receptor drives disease progression and treatment resistance in Non-small Cell Lung Cancer. EGFR is a well-documented therapeutic target for management of NSCLC. Our research combines Next Generation Sequencing (NGS) and Structure Based Drug Design (SBDD) approaches to identify natural compounds as potential therapeutical. In our study, we targeted the triple mutated EGFR kinase domain (L858R T790M/C797S) using its crystal structure (PDB ID: 9D3W) to design EGFR tyrosine kinase inhibitors. NGS examined......

Abstract: Overall analysis presents an integrated computational framework for precision oncology targeting KRAS4A mutations in Non-Small Cell Lung Cancer (NSCLC). The workflow combines Next-Generation Sequencing (NGS), Computer-Aided Drug Design (CADD), Artificial Intelligence (AI), and bioinformatics tools to systematically identify and evaluate potential therapeutic targets. Structural analysis of KRAS4A (PDB ID: 9GGY) revealed a stable conformation with a well-defined binding pocket between switch I and switch II regions. Sequence similarity.....
