ABSTRACT: Background: This work provides advanced studies into C. jejuni to reduce the colonization of the organism in broiler chickens achieved by; molecular confirmation of isolates, detection of virulence genes of isolates, experimental treatment using probiotics and thyme nanoparticles to inhibit the growth of C. jejuni in broiler.
Materials and Methods: A total of 200 cloacal samples were collected from different broiler farms. All samples were subjected to bacteriological investigation for C. jejuni and the purified colonies were identified biochemically. Molecular....

ABSTRACT: This paper summarizes the challenges and issues encountered in the bundling and harvesting technology of blanched garlic leaves in agricultural production. It conducts a literature review and analysis, consolidating existing machinery for blanched garlic harvesting and vegetable bundling. By integrating the characteristics of blanched garlic cultivation, along with its geometric and physical properties, it examines the current challenges and trends in blanched garlic bundling and harvesting. The paper concludes by outlining the difficulties in blanched garlic......

ABSTRACT: Organic Soybean Farming is a good enterprise for global social and economic development. With a global growing demand for healthy - plant-based proteins, specifically organic soybean farming has the ability to reduce poverty (number of world poor people) and increase wealth (number of world rich people). Field trials were carried out at the Research farm of Federal College of Education (Technical) Bichi, Kano State in the Sudan Savannah Zone Nigeria from June to October, 2023. The soil was sandy loam in texture having pH 7.4 with 0.04% organic carbon, N 0.05g/kg-1, P 0.03g/kg-1 and K 0.13g/kg-1. The improved soybean seeds (TGX-1951-3F) were collected from......

ABSTRACT: A study was carried out at Ritdun Integrated Farm, Jos, Plateau State, Nigeria (Latitude 09 o 85' N, Longitude 08 o 86' E and altitude 1,319 m above sea level) from November, 2019 to February, 2020 to evaluate "the effect of varying concentrations of Gibberellic acid (GA3) under refrigeration on the breaking of dormancy and seedling growth of apple (Malus domestica Borkh.) seeds in Jos Plateau, Nigeria". The experiment was laid out in a completely randomized design consisting of two varieties of Apple (green and red) and three concentrations of GA3 (0 ppm, 10 ppm, 15 ppm) giving a total of 6 treatment combinations which was replicated 3 times. The parameters assessed were......
