Abstract: In the last decade, Brazil has shown great improvement in the Paralympic sports. This has increased the number of studies and researches in Para-sports, with growing number of people with disability beginning sport practice in different contexts and places. There are many different types of Para-sports, Olympic and not, and martial arts are included in this universe of possibilities. This literature review aims to present the studies in the graduate programs in Brazil by analyzing the thesis and dissertations about martial arts and combat sports for people with disabilities, available in the Coordination for the Improvement of Higher Education Personnel (CAPES) from 2007 to 2017.......

Title | : | Modeling World Record Predictions in Track Events |

Abstract: We consider here the estimation of best possible running track events. A logistic type curve is applied with a least squares estimator and applying the gradient descent method. The facts seem to indicate a non-uniqueness of the best estimator and a rather slow convergence. The initial data must be reasonably accurate to obtain convergence, and convergence can require thousands of iterations. Since these are not production codes lengthy iterations are not significant, but there can be multiple convergence values depending on initial values. The implication is that unlike other literature which offers up best times, we demonstrate there can be substantial variance is best estimates. Predicting world records involves combining human mechanics, training, psychology, diet, and coaching. Our focus, mathematical models, groups these as four parameter models.

Abstract: At present, the regulation of moods and their alteration in old age is receiving a great deal of attention. In this stage, alterations in mood as apathy and fatigue are consequence of the aging process, as well as cognitive and physical decline at the age of 65 and above. Objective. Therefore, the objective is to analyze the existing studies, through a review of the literature, to determine which type of activity is the most commonly agreed and has the greatest impact on health. Methodology. A search was carried out in the Scopus, Pubmed and Science Direct databases, using the keywords "physical activity", "well-being", "elderly" and "health". Results. A total of 17 articles were selected. Conclusions.........

Abstract: The fitness demand in cricket is vary in according to the players' role and their playing position and also the game format. The purpose of this study was to design the Game Specific Fitness Profile of under-19 male Cricket Players from Kerala. A sample of n=97 male cricket players at the age range of 17 to 19 years (17.91±1.39) old were tested from various cricket clubs, training centers and academies of different district of Kerala with selected the standard test for speed, acceleration, agility, explosive power, and endurance. Descriptive statistics were calculated along with percentile for identifying their fitness level, where the 50thand 90thpercentile score were 48 cm and 57.2 cm for the variable static jump, 50 cm and 63 cm for counter movement jump, 3682.6 watts and 4863.93 watts.......

Abstract: The study was designed to find out the effects of 3 weeks moderate altitude training on cardiorespiratory endurance (VO2 max) of male amateur distance runners of plateau state, Nigeria. Pankshin which is located at an altitude of 1414 m was used as the venue of the study. A 1x4x1 factorial research design was used for the study. The purposive sampling technique was used to select 15 out of 19 amateur distance runners who were dwellers of Shendam located at a low altitude of 289 m on the basis of their performance in a VO2 max.test.Training was maintained between 60-80% of maximal heart rate of individual runners on daily basis for a duration of 3 weeks. Abstract: Abnormal psychology is a division of psychology that studies people who are "abnormal" or "a typical" compared to the members of a given society. The definition of the word abnormal is simple enough but applying this to psychology poses a complex problem: abnormal behaviour is studied by clinical psychologists by some methods. This article throws light upon the top four methods to study abnormal behaviour in human. This article also summarises the different perspectives of abnormal human behaviour with the study of deviation of ideal mental health.
