Abstract: Postural abnormalities of regions predisposes individuals to chronic pain. Because of improper position of students, who are growing, the risk of adopting abnormal postures is common. In order to establish appropriate strategies to prevent these impairments, having accurate information about them is necessary. The purpose of this study was to evaluation of ergonomic postures of physical education and sport science by REBA and its relation to prevalence of musculoskeletal disorders. In the present cross-sectional study, 260 subjects of physical education and sport science were selected randomly and interviewed.........

Title | : | Effect Of Acute Dynamic And Static Stretching On Maximal Muscular Power In Recreational Athletes |
Country | : | India |
Authors | : | Amruta P. Balkawade || Deepali N. Hande |
Abstract: Stretching promotes increased ROM, muscle temperature, and decreased stiffness of the exercised muscle. It reduces the risk of injury, alleviates pain, and improves athletic performance. The most common stretching types used prior to exercise are static and dynamic. By identifying the most beneficial type of stretching for a given exercise bout, therapists can utilize techniques to enhance stretches as they relate to strength and power performance. The purpose of this study was to determine the acute effect of dynamic and
static stretching on maximal muscular power which is evaluated by peak jump height in college........

Abstract: Introduction: Stroke is the third leading cause of death and most common cause of disability among adults in US and a major health problem in India. Spasticity emerges in about 90 percent of cases. Stroke patients with persistent distal weakness of ankle dorsiflexors and spastic plantar flexors are often unable to actively dorsiflex the foot during swing phase which is referred to as foot drop. Common peroneal neuropathies are one of the causes of foot drop a condition which is evaluated using electrodiagnostic method............
