Abstract:In this project the effect of core thickness and facesheet thickness on flexural strength and elastic modulus is investigated for Polyurethane core glass/epoxy sandwiched structures. The face sheets of glass/ epoxy were prepared using hand layup and vacuum bag moulding technique. In order to interpret the effect of variable ANOVA is used. From the results of ANOVA it is found that, the face sheet thickness is most significant variable for flexural strength and for elastic modulus core thickness. The images of the fractured specimens showed, crack propagation starts from the interface between the core material and facesheet and moves towards the center of the core to the lower face of the facesheet.

Abstract:This paper represents durability testing technique. Durability testing is a performance testing technique used to determine the characteristics of a system under various load conditions over time. This testing helps to identify the stability of transaction response time over the duration of the test. It is generally considered a subset of reliability testing. In many large scale or small scale industries, checking of components is carried out manually. Manual testing leads to have human error, increase down time, less accuracy. Hence to overcome that prone needs automation. In this paper we are comparing durability testing methodology will use this to develop a new method to find life cycle of head rest sleeve and try to automate it.

Title | : | A Detail Review on Study of Flywheel |
Country | : | India |
Authors | : | Shelke Shubham || Paymode Akshaydeep || Shelke Vishal || Salunkhe Arun || Professor S.N. Tapase |
Abstract:A flywheel used in machines serves as a reservoir which stores energy during the period when the supply of energy is more than the requirement and releases it during the period when the requirement of energy is more than supply. For example, in I.C. engines, the energy is developed only in the power stroke which is much more than engine load, and no energy is being developed during the suction, compression and exhaust strokes in case of four stroke engines. The excess energy is developed during power stroke is absorbed by the flywheel and releases its to the crank shaft during the other strokes in which no energy is developed, thus rotating the crankshaft at a uniform speed. The flywheel is located on one end of the crankshaft and serves two purposes. First, through its inertia, it reduces vibration by smoothing out the power stroke as each cylinder fires. Second, it is the mounting surface used to bolt the engine up to its load.

Abstract: The topic of this project is steering controlled (or directional) headlights, that are usually a separate set of headlights fitted to road vehicles beside the usual low beam/high beam headlights and their feature is that they turn with the steering, so that the driver of the vehicle can see the bend, what he is actually turning into. These type of headlights appeared on production cars in the1920's and are still around now a days, but not very popular, although they make night time driving safer. The most famous car which featured these lights was the Citroen DS (1955-1975), introduced on the1968 Paris Motor Show. The headlights can be connected to the steering linkage by means of rods or cables............

Authors | : | Govind U. Raiphale || Abhishek P. Godse || Kshiteej S. Dhotre || Omkar N. Chakor |
Abstract: Bedsores also called pressure ulcers are injuries to skin and underlying tissue resulting from prolonged pressure on the skin. Bedsores most often develop on skin that covers bony areas of the body, such as the heels, ankles, hips and tailbone. People most at risk of bedsores are those with a medical condition that limits their ability to change positions or those who spend most of their time in a bed or chair. This paper outlines an anti-bedsore bed which is a medical device that prevents or delays occurrence of pressure ulcers by alleviating contact pressure exerted on a patient due to a contact with a bed. In this work, a set of air bags are to be installed below a generic hospital bed to alleviate the bed to required direction to prevent pressure ulcers.............

Abstract:During its operation, a power transmission belt can undergo axial, transverse and torsional motion. A detailed vibration analysis of 5-axis articulated robot was conducted. Results show thatpower transmission belt drives majorly contributed to the vibration in robots. Experiments were conducted through which we concluded that belt elongation due to applied tension caused vibrations. The system was further analyzed to know the elongation and natural frequency of the belt. Modifications done to the system by using spring loaded idler that would automatically adjust the belt tension, reduce vibrations in the system, increase life of the belt and in turn reduce the maintenance cost of robot.

Abstract: In automatic assembly, feeder plays has vibratory bowl has crucial role for reorienting the parts and feeding them into the assembly year process. Vibratory feeder bowls used to feed small are parts into various stations (resorts). At each station (resort) the parts will be rejected golden accepted depending one the orientation of the leaves. This analysis was for Royal Plastic explosives, Inc. who was looking to increase the production by increasing the leaves feed spleen of one of their vibratory feeder bowls. Are orientated they will be fed to have the parts has new station (resort) and often used in robotic systems that produce larger assembled products. The spring constrains the bowl so that its vertical displacement causes a coupled rotation around its vertical symmetric axis.

Abstract:Consumption of fossil fuels and petroleum products in India is continuously rising the recent years.
The alternative option for conventional vehicular fuels is biodiesel, which can be produced from the feedstock
available abundantly in the developing countries due to their agricultural base. Indian National Biodiesel
Policy does permit the production of biodiesel from non-edible vegetable oils. Bio-diesels produced from
vegetable oils not only provide energy security but also reduces harmful emissions. To contribute to fuel supply,
renewable energies such as non-edible oil such as Karanja, Jatropha,Mahua appear to be an attractive
resources for biodiesel production in India as it can be grown on waste land and does not need intensive water

Title | : | Modeling of Concrete Pipe Auto Gripping Jaw for Pipe Handling |
Country | : | India |
Authors | : | Mr. Dhanesh M. Pawar || Mr. Omkar Taware |
Abstract: Material handling plays a vital role in every manufacturing and construction organization. It has been estimated that more than 15 to 20% of the product cost is associated with material handling activities. Unlike many other operations, material handling adds to the cost of the product and not to its value. It is therefore important first to eliminate or at least minimize the need for material handling and second to minimize the cost of handling.Presently the concrete pipes are handled manually by use of crow bar and human worker which is time consuming, damages the pipes while transportation, unsafe work practice hence there is a need of concrete pipe suspender for fast and safe handling of concrete pipes. It is important to keep the pipes properly by lifting the concrete pipes................

Abstract: Nanocomposites can be described as "multiphase materials where one or more of the phases have at least one dimension of order 100 nm or less."In recent years, intensification in research of nanostructure materials has occurred primarily due to their attractive potential, that is mechanical and physical properties significantly improved compared to the original grain materials. Expected benefits from nanocomposites include improvement in modulus, flexural strength, heat distortion temperature, barrier properties, and other benefits. Nanocomposites are becoming very popular today due to the enormous benefits being derived from it, this explains its acceptability and why leading manufacturing companies are spending millions of dollars on its research and development. The objectives of the project is to conduct a thorough research on the topic and then look for better approach to manufacture better and more durable nanocomposite products for oil and gas pipelines, that will serve as better................

Title | : | Design and Analysis of Truck Chassis Frame |
Country | : | India |
Authors | : | Monika S.Agrawal |
Abstract:Chassis is one of the important part that used in automobile industry. it is a rigid structure that forms a skeleton to hold all the major parts together. Chassis frames are made of "steel section" so that they are strong enough to withstand the load and shock. Chassis must be light in weight to reduce dead weight on the vehicles. Major challenge in today's automobile vehicle industry is to overcome the increasing demands for higher performance, lower weight in order to satisfy fuel economy requirements, and longer life of components, all this at a reasonable cost and in a short period of time. The study is to produce results to rectify problems associated with structures of a commercial vehicle such as strength, stiffness and fatigue properties along with stress, bending moment and vibrations. This can be achieved by static and dynamic analysis, combining existing theoretical knowledge and advanced analytical methods.

Authors | : | Prof M S Deokar || Prof.P.M.Hombal || Prof.A.D.Halwe |
Abstract: Solar Water Heating is an effective method of utilizing solar heat to perform many useful tasks. The energy from the sun can provide hot water for many applications, displacing the ssneed to burn fossil fuels. A solar collector is the main component for absorbing heat from solar beam and utilizing it for heating purposes. One way to absorb more heat from the solar beam is to modify heat characteristics of the working fluid. With the development of nanotechnology, an innovative heat transfer fluid arises. Nanofluids, a relatively new class of fluids which consist of a base fluid with nano-sized particles (1- 100 nm) suspended within them. These particles are generally metals or metal oxides. Nanofluids have been considered as a new-type heat transfer fluid because of their substantial increase in liquid thermal conductivity, liquid viscosity, and heat transfer coefficient............
