Abstract:In the present study, the adsorption capacity of waste materials of copper pod fruit was determined for the removal of malachite green dye from aqueous solutions. This batch adsorption experiment was carried out to study for the various parameters such as adsorbent dosage, contact time, initial metal ion concentration, pH value and temperature. The morphology was investigated by scanning electron microscope and X-Ray diffraction data. The equilibrium data in aqueous solution were analysed using Freundlich, Langmuir isotherm model, Tempkin and Dubinin - Radushkevich isotherm. Adsorption isotherm of malachite green dye obeyed Langmuir isotherm model, Tempkin and..........
