Abstract: Air pollution in cities is caused by motorized and factory activities. Increased pollutant gases cause climate change and the greenhouse effect. Therefore it is necessary to control it. One way is to use a wet scrubber on a motor vehicle and industrial exhausts. The purpose of this study is to reduce motor vehicle exhaust emissions. This research varies the diameter and wet scrubber sprayer on the muffler. The results showed that the more sprayers with smaller diameters the HC gas levels decreased by 11.53%, while the CO2 levels decreased by 1.04% (number = 3, diameter 200 um at 3000 rpm).
